Wrapt

Effective October 15, 2026

Terms of service

The short version

  • Wrapt keeps track of a group gift. It never holds or moves the money.
  • Guests pay the organizer directly; the organizer is responsible for buying the gift.
  • Free covers one live event at a time. Wrapt Plus is $9.99 a year and Wrapt Pro is $29.99 a year, billed yearly.
  • Cancel anytime. Full refund within 14 days of a charge; no partial refunds after that.
  • Be honest and kind, and only share what you have the right to share.

1. The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Hearth Holdings (“we”, “us”), which operates Wrapt. By creating an account, or by using a gift list someone shared with you, you agree to them and to our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Wrapt.

2. What Wrapt is, and what it is not

Wrapt is a coordination tool. An organizer builds a gift list and shares a link; guests chip in toward a gift or claim one to buy themselves; the organizer keeps track and says thank you.

Wrapt does not process, hold or transfer gift money, and takes no fee on gifts. Guests pay the organizer directly, in a payment app or in cash. We are not a party to those payments and we are not a bank, an escrow service or a money transmitter. Totals shown in Wrapt are records that guests and organizers enter; they are not proof that money moved.

Wrapt does not sell or ship gifts. Links to stores are provided for convenience, and a purchase is between you and the store.

3. Who can use Wrapt

You must be at least 18 to create an organizer account. Guests and recipients do not need an account. A child may add ideas to a private wishlist only when a parent or guardian has chosen to share that link with them.

4. Your account

You sign in with a link or code sent to your email, so keeping your email account secure keeps your Wrapt account secure. Give us accurate information, and tell us at support@simplywrapt.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.

5. Organizer responsibilities

If you organize an event, you agree that:

  • You are responsible for the money you receive. That includes buying the gift you described, deciding what happens when a gift is over- or under-funded, returning money when that is the right thing to do, and any tax or reporting that applies to you.
  • The payment handles you list are your own, or you have the owner’s permission to list them.
  • You have the right to share the names and email addresses you enter, such as Secret Santa participants, and those people would expect to hear from the event.
  • A shared link works like a key. You decide who receives it, and you can pause it by unpublishing or archiving the event.
  • You will confirm contributions honestly and will not use Wrapt to collect money under false pretenses.

6. Guest responsibilities

  • Claiming a gift or recording a contribution is a promise to the organizer and the group, made in good faith. Wrapt does not buy the gift or send the money for you.
  • If your plans change, release the gift from your gift-tracker link or tell the organizer.
  • Before you send money, make sure you know and trust the organizer. Payments happen outside Wrapt, and we cannot reverse or refund them.

7. Acceptable use

Please do not use Wrapt to:

  • Break the law, deceive people, or raise money for anything other than what the list says.
  • Post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
  • Upload other people’s personal information without their permission, or photos of children.
  • Send spam, including through Secret Santa emails.
  • Probe, overload or disrupt the service, get around its limits, or access data that is not yours.
  • Copy or scrape the service with automated tools, other than through features we provide for that purpose.

We may remove content, pause a link or close an account that breaks these rules.

8. Your content

What you add to Wrapt (lists, notes, photos) stays yours. You give us permission to store it, display it to the people your link is shared with, and process it as needed to run the service. You are responsible for having the right to post it.

9. Plans and billing

Free. One live event at a time (published and not archived), with unlimited drafts, recipients, gifts and guests. Archiving an event frees the slot.

Wrapt Plus. Unlimited live events for $9.99 a year, billed once a year in advance through Stripe. Plus renews automatically each year at the then-current price until you cancel. If the price changes, we will email you before your next renewal.

Wrapt Pro. Everything in Plus, with your own Amazon Associates tag on the lists you publish and a count of how often each item is opened, for $29.99 a year, billed the same way. Switching between Plus and Pro is prorated by Stripe and confirmed by you before anything changes. Amazon pays commissions on your tag to you under your own Associates agreement; Wrapt is not part of that arrangement and makes no promise about what you will earn.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from Settings, under Manage billing. Your plan stays on through the end of the year you paid for and does not renew.

Refunds. Ask within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it in full; write to support@simplywrapt.com. After 14 days, payments are not refunded and there are no partial refunds for unused months, except where the law requires otherwise. Deleting your account cancels your plan without an automatic refund.

If your plan ends. Nothing you have published is taken down. You are back to one live event at a time until you renew, and lists that need a paid plan to publish stay as they are until you archive them.

Guests never pay Wrapt anything, and there are no fees on gifts on either plan.

11. Ending your use

You can stop at any time and delete your account from Settings; the Privacy policy explains what deletion removes. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.

12. The service is provided as is

We work to keep Wrapt accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that an organizer will buy a gift, or that a guest will send what they recorded.

13. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Hearth Holdings is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. We are not responsible for payments made between guests and organizers, for disputes between them, or for purchases from stores.

Our total liability for any claim relating to Wrapt is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or 50 US dollars. Some places do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

If someone brings a claim against us because of your content or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of responding to it.

14. Disputes and governing law

Most concerns can be settled by writing to support@simplywrapt.com, and we ask that you try that first. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Hearth Holdings is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any legal action must be brought in the courts located there. Nothing here removes consumer protections you have under the law where you live.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Wrapt changes. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for significant changes, email organizers before it takes effect. Continuing to use Wrapt after that date means you accept the updated terms.
